The final round of the football season used to be the appropriate time for emotional goodbyes and fond (and, occasionally, not-so-fond) farewells. But these days it seems that if you are waiting until round 22 to end your career or attempt to improve the personnel at your football club, then you are just wasting everybody’s time!
We have had it all this week. Old players have given it away so that clubs can give younger guys a taste of senior football while the Tigers decided that it was time for a new football administrator…like, right now! We can also say farewell to the Brendan Fevola contract saga…but relax, you can count on Fev making news for something else. Every…single…day!

In dieser Rubrik gebe ich meine Eindrücke zu den Serien wider, die ich im vergangenen Jahr geschaut habe. Die eine oder andere Serie(nstaffel) kann dabei auch zu früheren TV-Seasons gehören. Man kann aus der Reihenfolge der Auflistung, so man denn möchte, eine aufsteigende Positionierung in meiner Gunst ablesen - allerdings ist diese eher von der Tagesform abhängig und daher habe ich denn auch auf eine konkrete Nummerierung verzichtet.

The pea coat
This can be military inspired or otherwise, but the pea coat has survived many decades because of its rugged practicality as well as it’s visual appeal. Military or Navy issue pea coats are fairly affordable (especially if you come across them 2nd hand) and offer a way to dodge a designer’s price tag; so I would suggest going that route if spend is a potential issue.
The coats below are shown in various levels of dress. Burberry’s model has ample layering and accessories (with the toque and gloves); while the rest show a more minimalistic visual approach to wearing a coat of this type. Try finding a coat in a black or gray; as you will get the most wear out of those “everyday” tones.

I stumbled out of bed at a whopping 6:30 am, grouchy, hungry and sleepless. We had a 7:40 very important meeting with the Bullrunners (hahah) outside the Sofitel Hotel in Beverly hills, California. Arriving a little early, we all took advantage of the hidden coffee stand; our elixir of morning life… in which some of us injured our tongue on The entourage started to arrive, cameras were rolling, the engines were revving and the Bullrunners were gettin antsy. This is when I remembered that adrenaline is 100X better than any kind of caffeine and I need not worry, wake-up was just around the corner…
The cars all took off at 8am sharp, followed by a helicopter for a birds-eye camera angle. We had already jumped in the Destination X TV jeep and drove away (I was really starting to get the hang of it by now). The cars went whizzing [...]
Los fans de ‘Californication’ la recordaréis. Iba a poner que conocí esta canción gracias a esa serie, pero el yutús me ha permitido recuperar aquel momento y añadirlo a la entrada. Uno de los momentos clave de la 1ª temporada (y no lo digo por los pezones eréctiles de la Zima.
